Hello everyone!<br />
<br />
Just recently I bought myself a new blender/grinder for my new dorm and I absolutely love it!<br />
<br />
So to test it out I made a smoothie, what better way? I made a banana, watermelon, and strawberry smoothie. It was delicious. You can practically make almost anything into a smoothie.<br />
<br />
<b>Ingredients:</b><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrKfEkRUDRZ3xZvefkS_WaEH9Laj24DnYBqqP2v3BwWl_dTaxFEjtxRCMzPyHpqzleG3GMeBcFZigGCcoLOFpkO1oGBglms2dlaXZ8RcMlF8aQ83l0otGWn-Qgy5qvy1aoM31VGg4yBJQ/s1600/20150115_164742.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrKfEkRUDRZ3xZvefkS_WaEH9Laj24DnYBqqP2v3BwWl_dTaxFEjtxRCMzPyHpqzleG3GMeBcFZigGCcoLOFpkO1oGBglms2dlaXZ8RcMlF8aQ83l0otGWn-Qgy5qvy1aoM31VGg4yBJQ/s1600/20150115_164742.jpg" height="320" width="259" /></a></div>
<br />
1. You want to use at least two or three different fruits. Fresh or frozen can work. Adding some green can be tasty as well for those who are trying to get into a healthy diet, such as spinach or kale.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqdRGkI39rQAg1drILQTFUo8riPviK5YPIMd2N6hiOuYfrDNLWp3jDq_xA1ZgQXCsrBDod4J6E3-RIGIhUH8dUacyhKzC86mzJghs2zwROp7V6sdUfbtfoRyalv_FR7VlHqz3pjKyutHc/s1600/20150115_164837.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqdRGkI39rQAg1drILQTFUo8riPviK5YPIMd2N6hiOuYfrDNLWp3jDq_xA1ZgQXCsrBDod4J6E3-RIGIhUH8dUacyhKzC86mzJghs2zwROp7V6sdUfbtfoRyalv_FR7VlHqz3pjKyutHc/s1600/20150115_164837.jpg" height="296" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
2. Next, add one or two cups of some type liquid for your base, or it really depends on your fruit amount or how big your blender is. In this instance, I selected milk. You can also select other liquids such as water, juice, and etc. There's also different type of milk that you might want to try, such as almond milk, coconut milk or soy milk.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZAYUbk237XobrAqtBAEVCBBOH8iNrMt6E9tU2b4yn7VT9pWq3L1dTpHQcdBNiMaxXOhxMPeUI6qAP75xqhZ6xnVnvQ06uf4SUzzKywtSmG2G2uSKY7s2s1xPIUs_5rUD1UhtJQx_WJW4/s1600/20150115_165349.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZAYUbk237XobrAqtBAEVCBBOH8iNrMt6E9tU2b4yn7VT9pWq3L1dTpHQcdBNiMaxXOhxMPeUI6qAP75xqhZ6xnVnvQ06uf4SUzzKywtSmG2G2uSKY7s2s1xPIUs_5rUD1UhtJQx_WJW4/s1600/20150115_165349.jpg" height="320" width="265" /></a></div>
<br />
3. Now you want to get your smoothie that thick, creaminess texture. So what will it be? I selected ice cubes (crushed) for my smoothie. Again, the amount depends on you. You can also use yogurt, ice cream, peanut butter, cookies (maybe cookies n' cream?), and etc. I remember my sister tried Nutella before. Now you can turn this into a milkshake, huh?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsLH5But_If9zPPkXCMmwvyr4N04_m0QQpRD9ejs5NH0D-ED92xRru0VoeN366Fu6QHBh8hmaD6X9FyHwYpS7HC40glXoaXswe7D9344tiJfpzp5S7iWt48LMqyrbuqZS-2k4sN7DnKOI/s1600/20150115_164944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsLH5But_If9zPPkXCMmwvyr4N04_m0QQpRD9ejs5NH0D-ED92xRru0VoeN366Fu6QHBh8hmaD6X9FyHwYpS7HC40glXoaXswe7D9344tiJfpzp5S7iWt48LMqyrbuqZS-2k4sN7DnKOI/s1600/20150115_164944.jpg" height="320" width="180" /></a></div>
<br />
4. Alright, choose your flavors! Smoothies are mainly sweet, in which I used 2 teaspoon of sugar for my smoothie, but if you're going for that green healthy diet smoothie then try herbs (like mint), spices, ginger, cinnamon, honey, syrup, and etc.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisz4vTY2pXIWZ7IUdy_FY-qoQsYD35VskiC_fkhyphenhyphenimPg5LuWXoO0uHvmsWHVnKkPJv7fCVpdV-wX4z9S7jqoNvKb0hSIcGn07n60VTCEVoaosha-4H6vVTPPZrzirh8lNgEst3KOhxHhQ/s1600/20150115_165052.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisz4vTY2pXIWZ7IUdy_FY-qoQsYD35VskiC_fkhyphenhyphenimPg5LuWXoO0uHvmsWHVnKkPJv7fCVpdV-wX4z9S7jqoNvKb0hSIcGn07n60VTCEVoaosha-4H6vVTPPZrzirh8lNgEst3KOhxHhQ/s1600/20150115_165052.jpg" height="320" width="180" /></a></div>
<br />
Blend it all up! And there you go! How hard can it be? Not too hard really. There's all kinds of smoothie recipes that you can get from websites. I love going to Pinterest for my recipes!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjExSCSsYw1qGI4_GkjVdNNmHFEtE47SMWFqS4HVgQuSpiT8-DR59ECzv04f5xTwE5exyH3dBTUHty0TQL0rDzBVoBZclqZaxxA0kz8wcz5JMucY9hi8JbNoBDdUqQnT4CN3hzllWybfX0/s1600/20150115_170525.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjExSCSsYw1qGI4_GkjVdNNmHFEtE47SMWFqS4HVgQuSpiT8-DR59ECzv04f5xTwE5exyH3dBTUHty0TQL0rDzBVoBZclqZaxxA0kz8wcz5JMucY9hi8JbNoBDdUqQnT4CN3hzllWybfX0/s1600/20150115_170525.jpg" height="320" width="259" /></a></div>
<br />
Here's my simple smoothie. Nothing too fancy. FYI, if you want to make that power smoothie try adding things like powder nutrients. There's protein powder, vitamin powder, cocoa powder, and other power boosts like fish oil or flax oil, and seeds, like chia seeds.<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

Look what I made? I actually made this quite awhile ago but I haven't had the time to update the blog or I haven't had the time to make anything fascinating that I would like to share with you all. Now I do.<br />
<br />
Whoopie pies are just like cake, just smaller. I actually used a red velvet cake mix in this case. I went by the same ingredients on the box and just used a whoopie pie pan. For the filling, I just used <br />
<a name='more'></a>cream cheese frosting.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9kF2gEEjTxzaJptzlwozCGo9ZK0wshFtAqaedeXfyubD1kmigQ6nKe1lBcA9HpeLJd9GIahWqXx96SjMsJltin5ulQoZyy8AbYBH4nlfnyY1KhKxXy72j2Cgu5Js2PXk6Zg2Vnu1_ano/s1600/DSCF0939.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9kF2gEEjTxzaJptzlwozCGo9ZK0wshFtAqaedeXfyubD1kmigQ6nKe1lBcA9HpeLJd9GIahWqXx96SjMsJltin5ulQoZyy8AbYBH4nlfnyY1KhKxXy72j2Cgu5Js2PXk6Zg2Vnu1_ano/s1600/DSCF0939.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Toppings and other extras that I used in my whoopie pies:<br />
<br />
- White chocolate<br />
- Mini Hershey's kisses<br />
- Powder sugar<br />
- Sprinkles<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
After the new year celebration every single store has already put up Valentine's decorations. That's crazy! Well, these are perfect for Valentine's Day! One reason why I love making whoopie pies is because they are easy to individually pack for friends and family.<br />

It's been such a long time since I've updated but it's summer now and I have more free time than usual these days so why not update what I've been doing so far?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjon2X9bGo5sjJZqClTKWv9MxiRWFjkTrkgt7VewxA3y1edMKEBhk6KZzkgenYTjb8ftlY72_GVLcC9nbU4P5zE5RkomNUPdX6FByGMs9fW36q4k_TTRLxqmeWRpIXWTl3Tb5uJE3xP4U/s1600/Whoopie+Pies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjon2X9bGo5sjJZqClTKWv9MxiRWFjkTrkgt7VewxA3y1edMKEBhk6KZzkgenYTjb8ftlY72_GVLcC9nbU4P5zE5RkomNUPdX6FByGMs9fW36q4k_TTRLxqmeWRpIXWTl3Tb5uJE3xP4U/s1600/Whoopie+Pies.jpg" height="400" width="298" /></a></div>
I just came back from my study abroad trip in Belize. Wow, that was an amazing adventure. You can read more of my adventures <a href="http://hellolifehelloadventures.blogspot.com/">here</a>. I also have been through a series of interviews. I have been selected as The Home Depot Summer Retail Intern for their program! That's exciting and I can't wait to start working.<br />
<br />
Anyways, here's some delicious chocolate whoopie pies that I made awhile ago. You can use a whoopie pie pan, which I used, or aluminum foil. They are really fast to bake so keep them on watch.<br />
<br />
I used butter cream for the middle for these whoopie pies. One thing I love about whoopie pies is that you can play with them and put whatever you want for the filling, just like cupcakes. Then for the outsides of the filling, I put white chocolate kisses, butterscotch kisses, and mini chocolate kisses.<br />
<br />
They were oh-so-yummy! Well, have a great day everyone!
<br />

Hi all!<br />
<br />
Hope you're doing well! Here's a cake that I made for my little brother's birthday! He turned six on Feb. 1st. Ah, time flies by so fast!<br />
<br />
Anyways, I'm really really proud of myself. I think this is the best cake yet that I have ever made! Well, I think so.<br />
<br />
I've seen a lot of different <br />
<a name='more'></a>ninja cake ideas on Pinterest and a lot of them were cool. I was planning to use white powder to outline a ninja on the cake and at the very last second I've changed my mind. And honestly, I really like my idea better. It turned out just the way I expected and that's a first, I tell you! A lot of the cakes in my head never turn out the way how I want them to be. But this one, I was very proud of my work.<br />
<br />

Hi everyone!<br />
<br />
Here's something special that I made for my boyfriend on his new job. Technically, he's been working at this job for 6 months already but it's only as a temp. and now he's officially a part of the company. Able to get the benefits and everything and I'm so proud of him!<br />
<br />
Anyways, with a long distance relationship, it's pretty hard to send stuff, especially bake goods. So I thought, why not make Rice Krispies, right? <br />
<a name='more'></a>They stay pretty good for a long time if you wrap them up good.<br />
<br />
<b>Ingredients:</b> <br />
1 box of Rice Krispies<br />
1 bag of M&M's Mini (can use regular size as well but I prefer mini size)<br />
1 bag of marshmallows <br />
1 stick of butter<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbMhFWkECy8PTC6it0KNI77ZXFxUF3uF0j6DhyphenhyphenmOA7gIQ11klvmsnGQsx1D51smskNXnoF7np-I-FFOrRo2ANtxPGPWfNGLZMARrjm5qSV6qzoAm0p4y31RCYX6HFxinVzsAn6yICJFkc/s1600/DSCF0660.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbMhFWkECy8PTC6it0KNI77ZXFxUF3uF0j6DhyphenhyphenmOA7gIQ11klvmsnGQsx1D51smskNXnoF7np-I-FFOrRo2ANtxPGPWfNGLZMARrjm5qSV6qzoAm0p4y31RCYX6HFxinVzsAn6yICJFkc/s1600/DSCF0660.JPG" height="239" width="320" /></a><b>Instructions:</b><br />
I know some people microwave their marshmallows, but my family and I prefer to melt the marshmallows on the stove with a huge pan. Cut up the stick of butter into chuck of slices and throw it in the pan as it starts to melt. Then mix in your bag of marshmallows. Keep stirring until the marshmallows melts into a liquid. Wait for the marshmallow to cool just a minute, you don't want to poor in the Rice Krispies right after you melt the marshmallows because this can cause your Rice Krispies to get very soft and mushy. After a minute or so, pour in the Rice Krispies and mix. At the same time, mix in your M&M's as well. Place in an aluminum pan or whatever pan you want to keep your Rice Krispies in and wait for about an hour to let it cool and get that crunchiness like a Rice Krispie supposed to get and done! Viola! Rice Krispie treats with M&M's. Yum!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwEK8Wd52FFCVA_PlekbuefPNwY8fdLPJs7DcWJB4iit4pralqDZ9V2uu6cbu2V9DWfVjD7kVh3Q0MjRxfjWBnBu8oWQxKQ8S3MTu4RN0nrbpwf4D2fZCg-9E9lDPyjJWR2rLK6zgktQA/s1600/DSCF0662.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwEK8Wd52FFCVA_PlekbuefPNwY8fdLPJs7DcWJB4iit4pralqDZ9V2uu6cbu2V9DWfVjD7kVh3Q0MjRxfjWBnBu8oWQxKQ8S3MTu4RN0nrbpwf4D2fZCg-9E9lDPyjJWR2rLK6zgktQA/s1600/DSCF0662.JPG" height="320" width="238" /></a>Super easy, right? One of the easiest dessert/snack ever! My siblings and I really like the Rice Krispies more with the M&M's but for some reason, my parents prefer to have it plain.<br />
<br />
Well, for Rice Krispies you can really mix it with pretty much whatever you prefer. I've seen some with pretzels, chocolate, and of course, M&M's. Whatever you desire, really!<br />
<br />
Again, the main reason these were made was to congratulate my boyfriend on his job. Here's a little gift basket that I made for him.<br />
<br />

The gift wrap, bow, and ribbon can be bought from the Dollar Store or anywhere, practically. I wanted to make the saying related to the Rice Krispie theme and so I really love this saying that I wrote! "Congrats on the job! Show them who's snap, crackle, poppin'!"</div>
<br />
Well, everyone, that concludes this blog entry for today. Thanks for reading! Have a great day!<br />

It's good to see you all. I hope everyone is doing fantastic today!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
This Saturday, I made a chocolate cake (another chocolate because my family only eats chocolate) with light blue vanilla frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and cut out strawberries into heart shapes. It was another delicious cake!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiJW0fEDpiRVyN46VWEcsRSooPaTrNy89bXTexLKET_PjuxvYwd7Xu5K3VcoDKFs46jeljCpHap5wL1Jx4Xk5yykfOyJAu8UnpTSXhk6faZmOK02-dw3MFJ2dGFWl5IUwsqaTVv5nea24/s1600/Mommy's+Bday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiJW0fEDpiRVyN46VWEcsRSooPaTrNy89bXTexLKET_PjuxvYwd7Xu5K3VcoDKFs46jeljCpHap5wL1Jx4Xk5yykfOyJAu8UnpTSXhk6faZmOK02-dw3MFJ2dGFWl5IUwsqaTVv5nea24/s1600/Mommy's+Bday.jpg" height="318" width="400" /></a></div>

It was such a mess! The easiest way I have found doing so, is to simply grab a handful of sprinkles in your palm and gently press your palm with the sprinkles on the side of the cake. Start from the bottom and build your way up if you want. Make sure you are working on a clean surface! Always be sure to make good use of the leftover sprinkles that fell off. If you get icing on the side of your hand, make sure to keep wiping it off. The sprinkles tend to stick to your hand. Also, make sure you clean any icing off of the cake platter before you apply any sprinkles. You don't want any sprinkles to fall and stick to the icing on the platter. It makes it difficult to reuse the sprinkles.</div>
<br />
Anyways, this cake was made for my mom's birthday! The whole family went out to eat until we were stuffed. We later came home to eat the birthday cake until we were stuffed again. It was a great day!<br />
<br />
Happy birthday mom! The whole family loves you!<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading everyone! Have a great day and see you next time!<br />

<br />
I hope you have been doing great lately and been staying warm, depending on where you live! It's gotten colder and hot and cold and windy and then sunny and beautiful today, and has been said that it's supposed to snow tomorrow! Geez, it's been crazy lately but anyways, hope you're all doing well wherever you're at.<br />
<br />
Anyways, for my first non-bake sweets of 2014, I made some yummy butterscotch Oreo truffles. And I also made some white chocolate Oreo truffles as well, but my focus for today's entry are my butterscotch truffles!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The recipe and instructions is super easy!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ingredients:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1 package of Oreos</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1 block of cream cheese, room temperature</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1 bag of Hershey's Butterscotch Chips</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
Instructions: <br />
Using a food processor or a blender (which I found it easier to use), grind up all the Oreo cookies until they are fine crumbs. You can also do this manually. Mix the cream cheese (room temperature) with the Oreo crumbs. Combine the two ingredients until the crumbs starts to disappear become almost "dough-like" and might be a little greasy as well.<br />
<br />
Start rolling the mixture into bite-size balls and place them on a pan. Refrigerate them about an hour or so.<br />
<br />
After you take out the Oreo balls, you can now melt the butterscotch chips according to the package.<br />
<br />
Dip the each Oreo balls into the melted chips. I found a easy to dip them is by holding a tooth pick on each side. Make sure to place your Oreo balls on a pan lined with wax paper. Let the Oreos cool down for another hour or so. And viola! Delicious bite-size goodness in your mouth!<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading! Until next time! Have a great day! Bye! Hope everyone is having a great day so far! Today, I wanted to share my Marshmallow Snowmen Cupcakes that I made for a early Christmas party a couple weeks ago. These were another hit at the party and I'm so happy that they turned out great.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi756I4YkW4R-mJg06GwoEENfPHV9F2SBRJywCWU6KJwcekqXe9MvRr8ut9OuaHz4gJxb2UROZSSkC8ucUj6KuPmejwDKZqcKrCDQKHjjgcl3ulyHnZJ6FK1vjHp2QDm8mtQetd29yIu7Q/s1600/Marshmallow+Snowmen+Cupcakes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi756I4YkW4R-mJg06GwoEENfPHV9F2SBRJywCWU6KJwcekqXe9MvRr8ut9OuaHz4gJxb2UROZSSkC8ucUj6KuPmejwDKZqcKrCDQKHjjgcl3ulyHnZJ6FK1vjHp2QDm8mtQetd29yIu7Q/s400/Marshmallow+Snowmen+Cupcakes.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
Made chocolate cupcakes, because who doesn't love chocolate? Used snowflake vanilla frosting and then top the cupcakes with coconut and blue/white sprinkles to represent snow. For the little snowmen I put two or three marshmallows on toothpicks and insert them into the cupcakes.<br />
<br />
I hope you all continue to have a great day and happy holidays to you all! Thanks for stopping by!<br />

For today's blog post, I made a DIY Christmas gift. It's super cheap, super cute, and very easy to make and to give it to all your friends and family. I call it a DIY Personalize Christmas Ornament.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZpJXGvDxaZDwjW26hX1u5ZTKNkWmdQ3OL_o1i4tBhMPnqEKwtov_b4unCprTfCoSRqop8jXSbEDJRj4it6ji-_exoO7eJhPCy8PWI8wdx-zU_qggySOz9IoGMIs5xWBj4ra3ke-xPtZA/s1600/DIY+Christmas+Ornament.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZpJXGvDxaZDwjW26hX1u5ZTKNkWmdQ3OL_o1i4tBhMPnqEKwtov_b4unCprTfCoSRqop8jXSbEDJRj4it6ji-_exoO7eJhPCy8PWI8wdx-zU_qggySOz9IoGMIs5xWBj4ra3ke-xPtZA/s400/DIY+Christmas+Ornament.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Items I used:<br />
- Clear ornaments from Walmart for a dollar each<br />
- Gold star confetti from Walmart for a dollar as well<br />
- Blank note cards, you can use plain white paper as an alternative<br />
- The origami was made from wrapping paper<br />
- Gold metallic sharpie<br />
- Bells<br />
- Gift tags<br />
<br />
You can put anything you want, of course. Make it your own unique ornament, personalize it, and put items that reminds you of the special person you're giving it to.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZXLzlnAJAIHrDBQn-TzsxBbEYPA_-FnX6TLxVVi1pmNDgK5CKAEfcotSKC3YryL_MO9i3zDBds_DxynbQu-ruppTa19VUxSdZXGuncBaCsRCinfhV2evdnqhJraei6nue_0iMG1MGNN0/s1600/DSCF0433.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZXLzlnAJAIHrDBQn-TzsxBbEYPA_-FnX6TLxVVi1pmNDgK5CKAEfcotSKC3YryL_MO9i3zDBds_DxynbQu-ruppTa19VUxSdZXGuncBaCsRCinfhV2evdnqhJraei6nue_0iMG1MGNN0/s400/DSCF0433.JPG" width="300" /></a>For example, I cut up note cards into small strips and wrote things that things that represent my friends, like , "You're such a hardworking, loving person that I know you'll go far!" I also add dates of things I've done with my friends, like all the trips we went together or dates of celebrations. I also threw in fortunes that represent my friends from fortune cookies and other things.<br />
<br />
Again, make it meaningful and personalize it with your own creativeness! They make great little gifts and they can be reused over and over with different personalize items throughout the years. You can also bring in a new holiday tradition and have everyone in the family make one and put things that makes them thankful for Christmas or all the great achievements and events that was meaningful to them in this year.<br />
<br />
Happy holidays and see you again soon! <br />
<br />

It's been such a long time since I've updated but I've been so caught up with my schooling that I just haven't had the time to do anything for a couple of months! Well, since I took my last Final today for the semester, now I'll have a week to update my blog as much as I can before I'll travel down to visit my boyfriend and his family for the holidays. I hope everyone is excited for Christmas as much as I am!<br />
<br />
Here are some Christmas cupcakes that I made for a party a couple weeks ago.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjraiJHUbVa_QGpUjlFwnJJNhUmerAQ50buIqToCsl1xAmLI7CgcxA6e_L85gwyMzqPjYKCSC3XafjRSA7aDjNBWsXHuEitUghiRnrWy3VR3ydod7Fw6yafiVAon-THjF8icitnPceLcA/s1600/Christmas+Hot+Cocoa+cupcakes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjraiJHUbVa_QGpUjlFwnJJNhUmerAQ50buIqToCsl1xAmLI7CgcxA6e_L85gwyMzqPjYKCSC3XafjRSA7aDjNBWsXHuEitUghiRnrWy3VR3ydod7Fw6yafiVAon-THjF8icitnPceLcA/s1600/Christmas+Hot+Cocoa+cupcakes.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
These are chocolate cupcakes, because of course, hot cocoa is chocolate. These are mini cupcakes and I used mini candy canes for the handles so they look like cup handles or tired to make them look like it at least! For the icing I used cream cheese. Added crunched up Oreo cookies, candy canes, which I used already broken pieces and sprinkled them on top of the cupcakes, and added marshmallows that I cut up into 2 pieces.<br />
<br />
They really give away that holiday spirit and make such great holiday treats as well! Everyone enjoyed them and I'm so glad because I worked so hard on them, making every individual cupcake look all neat and nice!<br />
<br />
May you all have a wonderful day and look forward to the next post!
<br />

<br />
So, my boyfriend is turning 21 very soon! How exciting! Therefore, knowing what people do when they hit that age, I'm thinking folks party hard for their 21st birthday, right? Well, his friends are throwing him a big celebration and so just in case I wanted to make him a "Hangover Kit" just for that occasion.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_ycAbGuuhJEMQC_0o_M0QCi8b_i38py4gaWtUwKhQzdGTAXqXk95PUPIGKgrqzVi7kgcmgfYE0B00QXclNpP8NVBJN9gro9tfIhmXQpLRGIcDIvKdgB5kKEcRob3LDCTcXFu8JbORrGk/s1600/DIY+Hangover+Kit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_ycAbGuuhJEMQC_0o_M0QCi8b_i38py4gaWtUwKhQzdGTAXqXk95PUPIGKgrqzVi7kgcmgfYE0B00QXclNpP8NVBJN9gro9tfIhmXQpLRGIcDIvKdgB5kKEcRob3LDCTcXFu8JbORrGk/s400/DIY+Hangover+Kit.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a data-pin-config="above" data-pin-do="buttonPin" href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fvarietyovariety.blogspot.com%2F2013%2F08%2Fdiy-21st-birthday-hangover-kit.html&media=http%3A%2F%2F3.bp.blogspot.com%2F-LvcAHlk2f5E%2FUglI6-o22JI%2FAAAAAAAAAns%2FTLdzcyFfgT8%2Fs400%2FDIY%2BHangover%2BKit.jpg&description=DIY%20Hangover%20Kit" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/pidgets/pin_it_button.png" /></a></div>
<br />
It's very simple and my hangover kit probably cost less than $20 altogether. Maybe even less than $15! Majority of the items I bought were from the dollar store! I love that store! Anyways, here's the items I added in my basket.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnnHoaJ0ePP2qYOLj-VIaXCKRt30S7aFMGQSdzpezHlYvm_hzCp20YDYBzbU6txaLsYW3JpZjZbjRMuISaN3hRfs6LqWUC59CWAB2ZiIE5ma3nYKiSuEoY2rbvYSZ8_7rblXX2Cdnyt2w/s1600/DSCF9862.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnnHoaJ0ePP2qYOLj-VIaXCKRt30S7aFMGQSdzpezHlYvm_hzCp20YDYBzbU6txaLsYW3JpZjZbjRMuISaN3hRfs6LqWUC59CWAB2ZiIE5ma3nYKiSuEoY2rbvYSZ8_7rblXX2Cdnyt2w/s400/DSCF9862.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A water bottle,a Gatorade, Chewy bars, raisins, chicken noodle soup, tissues, a little first aid kit, Vaseline, Advil, Tums, mouthwash, a little bottle of hand sanitizer, and a t-shirt that says "Wasted"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here's the t-shirt! When I first saw this I thought this is a must have for his 21st birthday party! Especially if the birthday boy doesn't want to admit that he's the one whose "wasted" at his own party. Ahah!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8omaiCxmwYYb0dcXmGLn1NZS-V6x6H8xM6ehvrdlsUPx1p9SEALLDw3JPrKrhLB9Qy0oQmo-tDOwdfVhyphenhyphenXHbVGRqrpnQDEw565wAf38Ykwf646A_yUcdquAQ5qysdEn3hrANlEbOXzps/s1600/DSCF9836.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8omaiCxmwYYb0dcXmGLn1NZS-V6x6H8xM6ehvrdlsUPx1p9SEALLDw3JPrKrhLB9Qy0oQmo-tDOwdfVhyphenhyphenXHbVGRqrpnQDEw565wAf38Ykwf646A_yUcdquAQ5qysdEn3hrANlEbOXzps/s400/DSCF9836.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Like I mentioned earlier, majority of these items were from the dollar store. A few items like the first aid kit and the mouthwash was from the Walmart's travel section. The t-shirt was purchased at the clothing store, Rue 21.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwQOyyQAdYjx66xG4OjxOrqxRJkMffmZ17o2L6h2Ijdzj1XBzes3BzFcM3fjRHnMZllshwiEUea-BoPPrkMBvQsGowfwyIuaqSawVY0dToJWI-aHtpxyNkC_fWDsLfYdkb4WffIu744NQ/s1600/DSCF9868.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwQOyyQAdYjx66xG4OjxOrqxRJkMffmZ17o2L6h2Ijdzj1XBzes3BzFcM3fjRHnMZllshwiEUea-BoPPrkMBvQsGowfwyIuaqSawVY0dToJWI-aHtpxyNkC_fWDsLfYdkb4WffIu744NQ/s320/DSCF9868.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The basket and ribbon was from the dollar store as well! I also made a "Get Well Soon" card because I thought that's hilarious. Here's how it looks unwrapped! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheplSOr5vaW7XU1Fefm1fyEqcB6r64DvfMBycTByTMAyzhj7c1rYijmayT__o-UOqbPvaDF6yqutbw8sFxC0w6g5DzhCXYg4jsCDGeOcoUmTJngIUNTv1Ac6Bygq-Kw71l_gUD4KLokJA/s1600/DSCF9867.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheplSOr5vaW7XU1Fefm1fyEqcB6r64DvfMBycTByTMAyzhj7c1rYijmayT__o-UOqbPvaDF6yqutbw8sFxC0w6g5DzhCXYg4jsCDGeOcoUmTJngIUNTv1Ac6Bygq-Kw71l_gUD4KLokJA/s320/DSCF9867.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And here's how it looks all wrapped up in a gift basket.<br />

There you go! That's my DIY Hangover Kit! I hope you all like it! Of course there's many more things to add in a hangover kit! Other things that I wanted to add was gum, sunglasses, a sleeping mask, an eye drop, and so much more! But I realize that my basket was getting too full and so I just had to stop spoiling him!<br />
<br />
Anyways, feel free to comment! Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07967664773314352261noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766632551180874753.post-81006479614164206102013-08-02T07:00:00.000-07:002013-08-12T12:28:08.111-07:00DIY Pokeball Candy GiftHello everyone!<br />
<br />
I know it's been awhile since I have updated this blog but I have been busy with my summer such as traveling around, spending lots of money, spending time with family and friends, and so on. I have been extremely busy in the past month because my boyfriend (who I have not seen in a year!) came to stay & visit! We had such a blast while he was here!<br />
<br />
Anyways, today's blog post is about a DIY Pokeball candy gift that I have previously made for my boyfriend's birthday. It was a hit with his friends and family and so I've decided to post it here for everyone.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUj6xqJxJwom-hDZ9hk6jyFdONd1vFridnKJWmi7T7p2iNAebPhyphenhyphenSeLBqUMr_4Cr201DFsJ8WU9_gteBjF7HJ5LG2xShU5o5WP8z42mgxNnIZ9XFeX562ZM03PV0wzMR83R0x8NwdTJYA/s1600/DIY+Pokeball+Candy+Gift.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUj6xqJxJwom-hDZ9hk6jyFdONd1vFridnKJWmi7T7p2iNAebPhyphenhyphenSeLBqUMr_4Cr201DFsJ8WU9_gteBjF7HJ5LG2xShU5o5WP8z42mgxNnIZ9XFeX562ZM03PV0wzMR83R0x8NwdTJYA/s400/DIY+Pokeball+Candy+Gift.jpg" width="263" /></a></div>

<br />
It's very simple. The plastic ball was bought from Party City for only a dollar! I then bought candies to fill the ball (or you can fill it with other goodies!). First, cut a trim of black construction paper to wrap around the ball. Then cut card stock paper and color it according to the picture above to add the finishing touch and that's it! Simple and fast! I think this is also a great party favor for a Pokemon themed party!<br />
<br />
Enjoy everyone! Have a wonderful day!

<br />
I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day celebration with all of your love ones. I know it's a couple days past Father's Day already but I wanted to share some of the things that my family did for my dad this past weekend.<br />
<br />
1. Dad's To-Go Gift Caddy<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLQwVkvA1dcdFOFwqmHykPUj8xQIjKSdmHnZd40iEPSxzcrpY9uRkrgXwAmW98zr_-bjn7-4-U6jeLlgvfORtf896l8ChEx3OGfSwunLVGXfx5J4FuscQdfPsL3Hp9J7jHT2NsD8Tymd8/s1600/Gift.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLQwVkvA1dcdFOFwqmHykPUj8xQIjKSdmHnZd40iEPSxzcrpY9uRkrgXwAmW98zr_-bjn7-4-U6jeLlgvfORtf896l8ChEx3OGfSwunLVGXfx5J4FuscQdfPsL3Hp9J7jHT2NsD8Tymd8/s400/Gift.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a data-pin-config="above" data-pin-do="buttonPin" href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fvarietyovariety.blogspot.com%2F2013%2F06%2Fhappy-fathers-day.html&media=http%3A%2F%2F2.bp.blogspot.com%2F-meEzv3fLAUo%2FUcNLRDswUQI%2FAAAAAAAAAjw%2FPDLydXj-ZuI%2Fs400%2FGift.jpg&description=Dad%27s%20To-Go%20Gift%20Caddy.%20A%20great%20Father%27s%20Day%20gift%20and%20easy%20to%20make!" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/pidgets/pin_it_button.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now, if you're as broke as I am, you understand that these holidays are killing us! But, out of love, we still would like to make our love ones happy. Therefore, it's time to head to the dollar store! And hey, they got some nifty stuff. I do my shopping at the dollar store all the time!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2Ol3mr6795H8NaGbXQ8RNO_x12KhN0LJBKdsKTLC4Ajh4NYQ1xdJnCV3tSoVs5qAZn6W5ygT0kHYhGNsL_KyMXBaCvGb9Lflu8WIwFQVAwQJ7e_RPqDDi9lcppEC24ntyE4FR0A4gAAA/s1600/Gift+Items.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2Ol3mr6795H8NaGbXQ8RNO_x12KhN0LJBKdsKTLC4Ajh4NYQ1xdJnCV3tSoVs5qAZn6W5ygT0kHYhGNsL_KyMXBaCvGb9Lflu8WIwFQVAwQJ7e_RPqDDi9lcppEC24ntyE4FR0A4gAAA/s320/Gift+Items.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Items: a caddy, Father's Day card, a sponge, a towel, popcorn, a Dad's drink, and Snickers chocolate bars</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz8ucjM9nQ8DzeMwV-cGGFjx_WEtbWqppuszE-DEgyb2N5le4SssmcTg2rp5EpZgrGX8OIQeMTrBbcMwosJ4toN3iqJvlaf60WJhS7fY3O3sIfZWToRtQvL4sTUHB39qa969iuSGKWM0k/s1600/Gift+Items+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz8ucjM9nQ8DzeMwV-cGGFjx_WEtbWqppuszE-DEgyb2N5le4SssmcTg2rp5EpZgrGX8OIQeMTrBbcMwosJ4toN3iqJvlaf60WJhS7fY3O3sIfZWToRtQvL4sTUHB39qa969iuSGKWM0k/s320/Gift+Items+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now you might be thinking, what a weird combination. Well, the idea is that our dad can enjoy watching his movie (kids-free) with the popcorn, drink, and chocolates while the kids go out with the sponge and towel to wash his car.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHds1lus6lHnSVYQmEO5-z8_oJ-jwaSvYK6YU8_jzZLDL4c6Re8_Qwcs0epDnLneP4CB7Vq5gMJfNhSxIkGI3xBNiWP5ZhnPk5HRSA6Y8Qs9PohVp3WpYQc0KnU1_Anuck8yErZC-tGzA/s1600/Gift+Items+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHds1lus6lHnSVYQmEO5-z8_oJ-jwaSvYK6YU8_jzZLDL4c6Re8_Qwcs0epDnLneP4CB7Vq5gMJfNhSxIkGI3xBNiWP5ZhnPk5HRSA6Y8Qs9PohVp3WpYQc0KnU1_Anuck8yErZC-tGzA/s320/Gift+Items+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
See, as you can see we also included a "One Free Car Wash From Your Kids" coupon. The gift turned out great! And us kids had a great time washing the cars.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2. Chocolate Strawberry Cake topped with Hershey's Milk Chocolate with Almonds</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOjbAuiwjRWYzEoqSQPZmhfH1EpHc3XTwq4DUDSeTFvQ7hqN3wkkYwZL6dqVF0-Dd7irr43kZ9MCfeeydEczZDLJqFYgiw7WFcAHmC8v7mGMg7FhBQLmkzZ7zi8nax8PEwLBcFJyW_cRM/s1600/Cake.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOjbAuiwjRWYzEoqSQPZmhfH1EpHc3XTwq4DUDSeTFvQ7hqN3wkkYwZL6dqVF0-Dd7irr43kZ9MCfeeydEczZDLJqFYgiw7WFcAHmC8v7mGMg7FhBQLmkzZ7zi8nax8PEwLBcFJyW_cRM/s400/Cake.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My family loves strawberries and so I made sure that the first layer was covered with strawberries!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then top the strawberries with cream cheese filling!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Make sure to spread the cream cheese around.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then cover it with another layer of cake. Cover the top with cream cheese again. Then make sure to cut the chocolate bars into pieces and place it on top of the cake for the finishing touch.</div>

<br />
So I've been decorating my bathroom along the "beach theme" and it's been progressing wonderfully! I've painted the entire bathroom, added personalized picture frames, added seashells and white beach sand to the bathroom, and put some personalized jars that's filled with sand and seashells on the counters. I would love to show you all pictures, but that's another blog for another time!<br />
<br />
Today's DIY project are my light switch and outlet covers that I redecorated in seashells! It turned out even better than I expected!<br />

<br />
So how to turn a plain o' light switch cover and an outlet cover into this? Well, these are the items you'll need:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibXN_-tcoVcynB4j1dIpRp8ahkJHEYXT2d8Al0_q0XDIONconbmQmZSi-Sl1kyS3Q_un4Dv8OgaGo2wb3PgTnaXRsK8d-iMHhchIoSZEZJm6Euw5NSpiVwt3IF3Zi8XNsjJ46L2dQdXKI/s1600/DSCF9185.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibXN_-tcoVcynB4j1dIpRp8ahkJHEYXT2d8Al0_q0XDIONconbmQmZSi-Sl1kyS3Q_un4Dv8OgaGo2wb3PgTnaXRsK8d-iMHhchIoSZEZJm6Euw5NSpiVwt3IF3Zi8XNsjJ46L2dQdXKI/s320/DSCF9185.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
1.Seashells. Can be bought from the dollar store.<br />
<br />
2. Aquarium gravel. Can be bought at Walmart or the pet store for an affordable price. You'll need these tiny rocks to fill in the white spaces on the covers.<br />
<br />
3. Hot glue gun. Can be bought cheap at Walmart or a craft store. <br />
<br />
So here's the steps:<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdHlBTP8eiJgCQmqdfDr0UTc4RVGnN9pYsy1QhNGLEHh4z1L_u_qLJlhF3lK1F2RAKlw3AgyCXVjZpYQ74ScVzTL3mLEbXVtkYQVdXwhz-pTlnlI44fMX59-zj6CK2mGKcER6ahzswohg/s1600/DSCF9175.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdHlBTP8eiJgCQmqdfDr0UTc4RVGnN9pYsy1QhNGLEHh4z1L_u_qLJlhF3lK1F2RAKlw3AgyCXVjZpYQ74ScVzTL3mLEbXVtkYQVdXwhz-pTlnlI44fMX59-zj6CK2mGKcER6ahzswohg/s320/DSCF9175.JPG" width="320" /></a><br />
1. Of course, you'll need to take the covers out.<br />
<br />
2. Take out all of the seashells from the bag and choose your likings. Make piles of the small seashells and big seashells. Most likely, you'll used almost all of the small ones because you want to be considerate and remember that you'll have to screw the covers back on and you want to make sure there's room for the light switch to turn on and off, and it's kind of hard to select all of the big seashells. But you can apply some of the larger ones on the corners of the covers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0mpShIId-OxeChi06TZ3amvJNrGQkIJB-wBHCzvYQssBRPzaGZQX7ZujokFznuwPq7y4H6VzaGzJ3klWPnCLOjK7bWowc4BJPq0otjApZ3x6mha_WdSXw00-uD2y0AZiQAQNH0oMuU1k/s1600/Seashell.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0mpShIId-OxeChi06TZ3amvJNrGQkIJB-wBHCzvYQssBRPzaGZQX7ZujokFznuwPq7y4H6VzaGzJ3klWPnCLOjK7bWowc4BJPq0otjApZ3x6mha_WdSXw00-uD2y0AZiQAQNH0oMuU1k/s320/Seashell.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT_S0HZgVCq4cZmJAcH3-XTxXu1CxnXMTeVczhWAA4BeuKNIiS94ZP066RwCfAHOtptikix9LviKYVnH6IjakIGB1T71lB_aDkZOGo-KOJfibldGJG5uR_ZKxIIpu5WuWu6VzWXn2qyxU/s1600/Seashell+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT_S0HZgVCq4cZmJAcH3-XTxXu1CxnXMTeVczhWAA4BeuKNIiS94ZP066RwCfAHOtptikix9LviKYVnH6IjakIGB1T71lB_aDkZOGo-KOJfibldGJG5uR_ZKxIIpu5WuWu6VzWXn2qyxU/s320/Seashell+1.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
3. Before you actually start gluing all of the seashells on the covers, make sure to plan and play around with the shells to see how you'll like it.<br />
<br />
4. Next, start hot gluing! How fun! Some of the shells, like the flat ones, I call it, but also have other names like the Lion's Paw, Scallop, Pecten Raveneli, you'll want to glue the outline/edges of the insides.<br />
<br />
5. Make sure the shells stay in place! Gently hold/press the shells for a few seconds and make sure it's stable, otherwise, hot glue it some more!<br />
<br />
6. After you have glued all of the seashells, you'll then see all of the empty spots that needs to be covered. That's where the aquarium rocks come in handy. They're tiny enough to fill in all of those smaller spots where smaller rocks or shells might not be able to fill.<br />
<br />
7. Repeat step 5 for the aquarium rocks and make sure they stay in place. They're smaller and more fragile for the glue to stick them in place. So gently holding them in place will surely make them stick on. <br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihyq3KtaqQByeQkvTWpbe93BYRCmcI10DaEyhPwmuQN6WyPdyvvNssXRNjEqC-p6tcKJ7mgH2usovBzSgTvmHAhz69DvObH_8cGfVaowM3vAzc-B2FoR8O8kZTpSJO3wLwdttf2-xqOWI/s1600/Seashell+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihyq3KtaqQByeQkvTWpbe93BYRCmcI10DaEyhPwmuQN6WyPdyvvNssXRNjEqC-p6tcKJ7mgH2usovBzSgTvmHAhz69DvObH_8cGfVaowM3vAzc-B2FoR8O8kZTpSJO3wLwdttf2-xqOWI/s320/Seashell+3.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihyq3KtaqQByeQkvTWpbe93BYRCmcI10DaEyhPwmuQN6WyPdyvvNssXRNjEqC-p6tcKJ7mgH2usovBzSgTvmHAhz69DvObH_8cGfVaowM3vAzc-B2FoR8O8kZTpSJO3wLwdttf2-xqOWI/s1600/Seashell+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"></a><br />
8. Again, make sure you remember that you'll have to screw the covers back. So you don't want to glue too much around switch lights or the screws. This happened to me, and I couldn't put the screws in because a shell was in the way or some of the rocks were too close to where I had to screw the covers back. In the end, I had to remove some of the little rocks and had to re-glue it again. But they still turned out lovely!<br />
<br />
9. Do the same process for all of your covers!<br />
<br />
And here's my outcome:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Today's card of the day is a card that I made for my dear brother. Sending him birthday wishes from across the United States, I got creative with the card. I drew a picture of "me" and added bubble comments with the things that I want to say to him and all the birthday wishes.<br />
<br />
Hope you all have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

I hope you are all doing well.<br />
<br />
Yesterday, I just threw a bridal shower for my dear cousin who is getting married in two weeks! If you're struggling with what signage stationery activities to do at the bridal shower then here's some of my activities that we did at my cousin's bridal shower.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMmmqqFXvMQS8uSFuKatGwKht-MEwc14gmqgou6ug0U7YDKa0P-9TlGEDNtBIwg2CWio3VygSu3HjCF60i04Zng8fW_RMPXIN7tjg_ni198LmzkTbgpJCPFNSUubd3_KxKh90b99J0rbU/s1600/Signage+for+Bridal+Shower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMmmqqFXvMQS8uSFuKatGwKht-MEwc14gmqgou6ug0U7YDKa0P-9TlGEDNtBIwg2CWio3VygSu3HjCF60i04Zng8fW_RMPXIN7tjg_ni198LmzkTbgpJCPFNSUubd3_KxKh90b99J0rbU/s400/Signage+for+Bridal+Shower.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfLmirBWZtv2idzz9-h5less_S01VR2eDUlaSQBp0j1F8quwTQqi8biyuSC-n5mqiO7fEPvIsWabxFoz9ceHMMXru-irWPTI3GZSx7K8h5qMre5Z7EFG5W6Ya4pa2juRNlHSsTY2MLZ9M/s1600/DSCF9158.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfLmirBWZtv2idzz9-h5less_S01VR2eDUlaSQBp0j1F8quwTQqi8biyuSC-n5mqiO7fEPvIsWabxFoz9ceHMMXru-irWPTI3GZSx7K8h5qMre5Z7EFG5W6Ya4pa2juRNlHSsTY2MLZ9M/s320/DSCF9158.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
1. Date Ideas<br />
<br />
I used a Mason jar and decorated it with a ribbon and a label that said "Pick One! Date Ideas." Then I used plain index cards and cut them into strips. Guests are able to leave the bride and groom funny, romantic or wild date ideas on the paper strips. For example: "Go on a romantic stroll in the park," "Go skinny dipping in the dark," or "Go bar hopping."<br />
<br />
This is such a neat idea for the bride and groom for whenever they are bored of their daily routines or just ran out of ideas on what to do on their next date. They can simply pick a date idea from the jar! They will never have another boring date again! So cute! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiubPe1JGm7jvDxGYyVaeyHRKc90RzV99tchqSti0kq9DuLF-_B4jlm2_8dFgrV30x11fi8ovTVQUR6Kj3S6YWt3aSP22iogGgccSH6-x8nlDjDyyr1zmIzFwaJtKbAmFRu1d45HxD-a_U/s1600/DSCF9166.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiubPe1JGm7jvDxGYyVaeyHRKc90RzV99tchqSti0kq9DuLF-_B4jlm2_8dFgrV30x11fi8ovTVQUR6Kj3S6YWt3aSP22iogGgccSH6-x8nlDjDyyr1zmIzFwaJtKbAmFRu1d45HxD-a_U/s320/DSCF9166.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
2. Words of Wisdom/Best Advice for the Bride<br />
<br />
Another thing that we had guests participated in at the bridal shower was sharing their advice and wisdom for the bride.They would write on note cards and insert it in a box. Then when everyone had a chance to write something, turn it into a little booklet or keep it in the box and presented to the bride. It's also fun to say it out loud and share with everyone!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgacBOzGDBwc2x1He0tH5w-O5WCnQx7qgUTYTcF0vPstCz2nnocfKgwzd4Kbyim46ta5Vp3Y_kb6utkTubSLfY6zLZyXjzwysQ1AiWCl1bIEEEGd2anEPDl8IMYxtguYEsw27JRpMG7xbQ/s1600/DSCF9162.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgacBOzGDBwc2x1He0tH5w-O5WCnQx7qgUTYTcF0vPstCz2nnocfKgwzd4Kbyim46ta5Vp3Y_kb6utkTubSLfY6zLZyXjzwysQ1AiWCl1bIEEEGd2anEPDl8IMYxtguYEsw27JRpMG7xbQ/s320/DSCF9162.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
3. "Guest Board" instead of a Guestbook <br />
<br />
So I know this is pretty early to have before of the wedding, but with I just couldn't help myself and had to make one for the bridal shower. Also, knowing that some of our friends and family are only able to attend the bridal shower or the wedding, I wanted to make sure that everyone had a chance to sign the board. I drew the groom and bride's name on a board that you can get super cheap, like a $1 at the Dollar Store or at Walmart, and also added their wedding date on the bottom. At the bridal shower, we had guests signed the board. There was still a lot of room so we'll use it again at the wedding!<br />
<br />
Everyone loved the board and it's way better to display than a guestbook where you'll probably rarely go through it again. But with a board you can display it and even frame it for all of your guests to see it in the future.<br />
<br />
Thank you for reading!

Today's blog is another DIY card that I've made for a dear person for her birthday. Again, I love using 3D foam adhesive tape to make decorations/pictures pop out. Love that 3D effect! You can buy this foam tape from anywhere like Walmart or a craft store like Michael's.<br />
<br />
Thank you for reading and have a great day!

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I always wanted to make this and since Mother's Day is nearing I decided to make some because my mom loves plants. I also decided to make some for a dear co-worker of mine who is retiring this summer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Here are the items you'll need:<br />
<br />
- Glass jars<br />
- Soil<br />
- Small white rocks<br />
- Variety sizes of all kinds of rocks<br />
- Plants<br />
- Activated charcoal (Optional)<br />
- Decorations (Optional)<br />
<br />
Step-by-step instructions:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih87KYNCdXvmV3MwP42HLjg8eflBCQ91fITOV2sOXHmxJszzhW6vpa9pC0F5LauxtEFVpEBEkx_89As7j2bdIYPaiGLvuNbRAQM7ZcgrHlKXTDe0sSp8OVFZwHTjjBc7UK22xU42GTz7Q/s1600/Plants.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicd6PODvqIagiPDdq4WPuGf2zC-4e_1Bl05lgFyWT_ziygSKhvyAIU06ssieGTxuE6bviS_t3tbDIUlsi-uVIbGL26jrcZAfKNxXhRjG627EwYls-nBo1ydADd6qbCbyU4Ro5YOmvvdLo/s1600/DSCF8871.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicd6PODvqIagiPDdq4WPuGf2zC-4e_1Bl05lgFyWT_ziygSKhvyAIU06ssieGTxuE6bviS_t3tbDIUlsi-uVIbGL26jrcZAfKNxXhRjG627EwYls-nBo1ydADd6qbCbyU4Ro5YOmvvdLo/s320/DSCF8871.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
1. Get some clean glass jars. Glass jars can be bought in almost any stores. I bought all of mine from the dollar store and the bigger jars and Mason jars were from Target and Walmart. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDSZvanFT6Og6Gil3LnslqHScOmpvpD6UFavaeMqayyAG6oqBaLeD2X_wMJFt4y00azH3qp835-O5nvhqOMJtA9JK5Rs0ZT4Q-xZRCcF0x0yLu1ZuE5GRk4-kr3ZwtZLhcw0eXWTHOIt0/s1600/DSCF8872.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDSZvanFT6Og6Gil3LnslqHScOmpvpD6UFavaeMqayyAG6oqBaLeD2X_wMJFt4y00azH3qp835-O5nvhqOMJtA9JK5Rs0ZT4Q-xZRCcF0x0yLu1ZuE5GRk4-kr3ZwtZLhcw0eXWTHOIt0/s320/DSCF8872.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
2. Get your potting soil, white rocks, and other rocks ready. I bought my potting soil under a dollar at Walmart and I also got my white rocks from there as well. I got my other rocks from the dollar store.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih87KYNCdXvmV3MwP42HLjg8eflBCQ91fITOV2sOXHmxJszzhW6vpa9pC0F5LauxtEFVpEBEkx_89As7j2bdIYPaiGLvuNbRAQM7ZcgrHlKXTDe0sSp8OVFZwHTjjBc7UK22xU42GTz7Q/s1600/Plants.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih87KYNCdXvmV3MwP42HLjg8eflBCQ91fITOV2sOXHmxJszzhW6vpa9pC0F5LauxtEFVpEBEkx_89As7j2bdIYPaiGLvuNbRAQM7ZcgrHlKXTDe0sSp8OVFZwHTjjBc7UK22xU42GTz7Q/s320/Plants.jpg" width="211" /></a><br />
3. I bought all of my plants under $3 from Walmart as well. Majority of the plants I bought were fern, ivy, bush, and other small house plants that can fit into the small jars that I bought. It worked out wonderful. I had enough plants for all of my jars. I was worried that some plants might be too big to fit into the jars but when you start to take out the plants from their original pots and soil some of the plants separated.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHP-GLQgXNHQxBIYS-AeHAMTs1WNxdgABDieL5J22jkIVm_HTLJpnWZs_gJpKtfq8dY0Om_5k6jpEpVroL7vG26rhfGvMJnCVEdf3qUfDvPWVEIIwNFBCjr-NZ7OvyD9NKaL12I6wIVC4/s1600/Taking+Soil.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHP-GLQgXNHQxBIYS-AeHAMTs1WNxdgABDieL5J22jkIVm_HTLJpnWZs_gJpKtfq8dY0Om_5k6jpEpVroL7vG26rhfGvMJnCVEdf3qUfDvPWVEIIwNFBCjr-NZ7OvyD9NKaL12I6wIVC4/s400/Taking+Soil.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
4. Take the plants out of their pot. Make sure to take out all of the soil down to the roots as much as possible. Do the same process for all of the plants.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Wq9XQ1AHnhisPBvXGOLfaTBfD4PSlESiuoeVmZI7Xe-xSCPMDPw1O7NlcWEeD6vXSPzelNt506ujPhAqaQmJYJQ2b-RqJQdTf88Id_ICOXy36R5Mg4v3KVs8-0V9xJlFUOvRBIOn_GY/s1600/Steps+for+Plant+Terrarium.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Wq9XQ1AHnhisPBvXGOLfaTBfD4PSlESiuoeVmZI7Xe-xSCPMDPw1O7NlcWEeD6vXSPzelNt506ujPhAqaQmJYJQ2b-RqJQdTf88Id_ICOXy36R5Mg4v3KVs8-0V9xJlFUOvRBIOn_GY/s400/Steps+for+Plant+Terrarium.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
5. Pour in the white rocks in the pot first.<br />
<br />
6. Second, pour in soil but not so much that it cover the entire pot because you'll need room for your plants, rocks, and other decorations. Also, I've read that others use activated charcoal to help clean and sustain the water but I didn't use any. Although you are more than welcome to use it and should pour it in after you pour in the white rocks and before you pour in the soil.<br />
<br />
7. Put your plants in gently. Then fill the pot with more soil to cover up the plant's roots.<br />
<br />
8. Then place some rocks on top to finish the look. All kinds of decorations can be added as well.<br />
<br />
For example, I added ropes, I used cupcake toppers, and made some of my own cut-outs. I wrote down all of the plant's name on the cupcake toppers and cut-outs that was placed in the pot so I wouldn't forget what kind of plants they were.<br />
<br />

<br />
I wanted to share a cake design that I made for my sister's 12th birthday, which was this past Monday, April 15th. Her favorite animals are pandas and she was begging me to make her a panda cake.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkIZncdxq2V4A23r_Wor84_-2Sjoroxxbm8Jei5XVTEWAm6RAlRRgJlBZqLhAEuDB9JRJSZqyYFWkP0hsHSXdjySW6h4e4KlO4Z0DT8gWYhQwUN2vcsU4o45zcmnIj_9JATW5-Bc6t7ww/s1600/DSCF8857.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkIZncdxq2V4A23r_Wor84_-2Sjoroxxbm8Jei5XVTEWAm6RAlRRgJlBZqLhAEuDB9JRJSZqyYFWkP0hsHSXdjySW6h4e4KlO4Z0DT8gWYhQwUN2vcsU4o45zcmnIj_9JATW5-Bc6t7ww/s400/DSCF8857.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Super easy! I used two cupcakes for the ears and bam, a panda cake!<br />
<br />

Hello readers!<br />
<br />
Here's a card that I've previously made for a dear cousin of mine when it was her birthday.<br />
<br />
Her favorite color is orange and she also loves the color teal. So I thought the two colors match perfectly well!<br />
<br />
To make the turtle look 3D dimensional, I used 3D foam adhesive tape. Works wonderful and I love it. You can find it anywhere at Walmart to craft stores, like Micheals. Some come in rolls or in pre-made squares.<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading!

So here's some St. Patty's Day cupcakes that I made for a Peer Mentor Social!<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAMNe_IYaPFjvcFvTw6fxCvY5uRQLc7KjQdB6Y-fLooh_l3IGnxKAdhmzrEJLCzuZvPgYqlAjTQIE_zBbxB7xDsnrYnqooLZzIrc3k8Tef2l04M3o-9XuIBY39EQOFoUBwTeoL-4U69cw/s1600/St.+Patty%27s+Day+Cupcakes+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAMNe_IYaPFjvcFvTw6fxCvY5uRQLc7KjQdB6Y-fLooh_l3IGnxKAdhmzrEJLCzuZvPgYqlAjTQIE_zBbxB7xDsnrYnqooLZzIrc3k8Tef2l04M3o-9XuIBY39EQOFoUBwTeoL-4U69cw/s400/St.+Patty%27s+Day+Cupcakes+2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Strawberry flavored mini cupcakes with colored cream cheese frosting topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows, and don't forget the gold cupcake cups! It wasn't my first intention to swirls the colors together but it actually turned out pretty great and everyone loved it!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Steps to blending the rainbow!<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Step 1: Put equal amounts of frosting into different bowls.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Step 2: Food color the frosting in all different colors! Less drops = lighter colors. More drops = darker colors. Then mix 'til you get the colors you want.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Step 3: Get your frosting piper out because it's time to stuff the colors altogether. And viola! How super easy!</div>

<br />
Today's blog post is a yummy one! Since Valentine's Day is coming up next week, I've decided to make some heart shaped pancakes as a Valentine's Day special!<br />
<br />
So the baking mix has been sitting in the pantry for awhile, so I've decided that it's time make something good from Jiffy's baking mix.<br />
<br />
Today's choice is pancakes! It tastes great and only requires two ingredients!<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2LSUwR5tZMjKtAosP26LVJeBsrdlqD_V1Jlq1e2e4wm4thSIrHmKLAkLaFQ1mKLhgIgd_BwDNrEb2GA_aIioDkTl-n4DRrByITlgYgWpOxOcyW_NL8VnBob9TSYx04xgn0eKwUpHpYFA/s1600/DSCF8423.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2LSUwR5tZMjKtAosP26LVJeBsrdlqD_V1Jlq1e2e4wm4thSIrHmKLAkLaFQ1mKLhgIgd_BwDNrEb2GA_aIioDkTl-n4DRrByITlgYgWpOxOcyW_NL8VnBob9TSYx04xgn0eKwUpHpYFA/s320/DSCF8423.JPG" width="320" /></a><b> </b><br />
<b>Jiffy Pancakes:</b><br />
<br />
<i>Jiffy's Ingredients:</i><br />
2 cups of Jiffy Baking Mix<br />
1 1/4 cups milk<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWQinENvz0mdXhbsSGxw-OayznriSFNf6rWJ4JSBT0I-AdQNwzXDRNiRij3r26yvN4oMKdcwrxwn1a_bXqTG6lOAoH29wj9aa3vgy7QCEIc5t64-0t6HLcCpTfiC4OHOxsdfuI6atpND0/s1600/DSCF8425.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWQinENvz0mdXhbsSGxw-OayznriSFNf6rWJ4JSBT0I-AdQNwzXDRNiRij3r26yvN4oMKdcwrxwn1a_bXqTG6lOAoH29wj9aa3vgy7QCEIc5t64-0t6HLcCpTfiC4OHOxsdfuI6atpND0/s320/DSCF8425.JPG" width="320" /></a>I think pancakes taste so oh-so-yummy when you add fruits! Sadly, this time I only had bananas but I sure will use everything if I had any! There's always next time. Plus, I still have so much left of the Jiffy Baking Mix. I'll make sure to make all kinds of bake goods as much as I can from the baking mix.<br />
<br />
Hope it turns out wonderful for you! Have a great one! Thanks for reading!

I hope you are all doing well. <br />
<br />
Today's outfit is a high-low dress with a ruffle top and a ruffle bottom. High-low dresses are really in style nowadays and I love 'em!<br />
<br />
I bought this dress from a clothing store called Papaya. Great stuff and at a reasonable price as well! Love that store.<br />

Hi everyone! Today's Outfit of the Day post is <i>Dolled up in Pink</i>! I wore this outfit for a new year that we celebrate in my culture. It's like a big celebration where people from the same culture gather together to come & eat, dance, sing, play sports, & etc. Anyways, this outfit is definitely not my culture's traditional outfit, that's for sure! But enough about that. I love this entire outfit! I especially love the shoes and the collar shirt.<br />

DIY heart bookmark makes wonderful bookmarks or can be great Valentine's gifts since Valentine's Day is coming up soon!<br />
<br />
Step 1: Cut out two hearts from construction paper. Make sure one heart is smaller than the other.<br />
<br />
Step 2: Place your smaller heart cut out on top of a tissue paper to trace the outline & then cut out the tissue paper.<br />
<br />
Step 3: Tape or glue (I found tape to be a lot easier) the tissue paper onto the smaller heart cut out. And then staple or glue (I found stapling to be more efficient) your two heart cut outs together.<br />
<br />
And viola! So simple & fast! You can make as many as you want. I can see this as a cute Valentine's gift for a classroom that the little ones that they can use for in their books.<br />
