Chocolate cake with Light Blue Frosting, Spinkles, & Heart Shaped Strawberries

It's good to see you all. I hope everyone is doing fantastic today!

This Saturday, I made a chocolate cake (another chocolate because my family only eats chocolate) with light blue vanilla frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and cut out strawberries into heart shapes. It was another delicious cake!

I say, the hardest part was applying the sprinkles on the side of the cake! It was such a mess! The easiest way I have found doing so, is to simply grab a handful of sprinkles in your palm and gently press your palm with the sprinkles on the side of the cake. Start from the bottom and build your way up if you want. Make sure you are working on a clean surface! Always be sure to make good use of the leftover sprinkles that fell off. If you get icing on the side of your hand, make sure to keep wiping it off. The sprinkles tend to stick to your hand. Also, make sure you clean any icing off of the cake platter before you apply any sprinkles. You don't want any sprinkles to fall and stick to the icing on the platter. It makes it difficult to reuse the sprinkles.

Anyways, this cake was made for my mom's birthday! The whole family went out to eat until we were stuffed. We later came home to eat the birthday cake until we were stuffed again. It was a great day!

Happy birthday mom! The whole family loves you!

Thanks for reading everyone! Have a great day and see you next time!
